Good triage starts by grouping the symptom. Is the damage on old leaves or new growth? Is it spreading? Are there insects, webbing, powder, rings, water-soaked areas, or residue under leaves?

Photograph both the whole plant and close details. Include healthy and affected leaves so the difference is visible.

Treatment choices can cost money, affect food safety, harm beneficial insects, or fail if the cause is wrong. Local agronomists, extension services, and labs can account for crop variety, weather, soil, and regional disease pressure.

For commercial crops or repeated garden failures, expert confirmation is usually more valuable than another image-only guess.

Use daylight, avoid heavy filters, and capture the plant from several distances. Photograph the top and underside of leaves, stem, soil line, fruit, flowers, and any insects or residues.

Add notes about watering, recent treatments, fertilizer, weather events, and when symptoms first appeared.

Do not apply pesticides, fungicides, or fertilizers only because an AI result suggested a possibility. Read local labels, follow regulations, and consider non-chemical steps such as pruning infected material, improving airflow, or adjusting watering when appropriate.

For food crops, livestock feed, or severe outbreaks, use qualified local guidance.
